Alex Yaroslavsky, MILR, NCM

 

Alex Yaroslavsky, MILR, NCM, is the founder of Yaro Group, LLC – a leadership consulting firm specializing in workplace effectiveness. Yaro Group’s services include executive coaching, training, facilitation, communication process analysis and electronic brainstorming.

 

Since 2000 Alex has been working with major clients in the financial services industry, including Citigroup, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, U.S. Trust and WestLB AG.  His experience includes coaching senior leaders in communicating more effectively with their superiors, peers and staff.

 

Alex is also a seasoned facilitator and trainer. He has led numerous brainstorming sessions, offsite retreats and professional development classes.

 

Alex teaches Dispute Resolution at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is a mediator with New York City’s Civilian Complaint Review Board. He is also a member of the FINRA and the New York County Lawyers’ Association mediation and arbitration panels. Alex was one of the first mediators to become certified by the New York State Dispute Resolution Association in 2009.

 

Prior to starting his own firm, Alex worked at Morgan Stanley, the Carter Presidential Center and Accenture.

 

Alex completed the Coro Leadership New York program in public policy in 2007. He also holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University (1995) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business (1991). Alex’s board affiliations include the Association for Conflict Resolution of Greater New York, NYU Executive Forum and Safe Horizon.
