Webinar Description

The new tax law makes fundamental changes on how much tax should be withheld from employee paychecks.

This information-packed webinar will review how 2018 payroll practices will be affected by the 2017 tax legislation and by the many changes enacted in prior years effective for 2017 tax filings.

It is expected that the Treasury Department will issue withholding tables in January 2018, and employers may be required to make withholding changes by the end of February.

Employees will almost certainly have to make new decisions regarding the number of allowances to claim on their W-4 forms.  Once tax-free workplace benefits may become taxable wages.  The bottom line—lots of employee questions for your payroll department to answer and many new forms and other paperwork to process properly.

There are also changes relating to how much federal tax will be automatically withheld on bonus, commission other distributions or other “supplemental wages.”

Get the information to effectively meet these new payroll requirements by attending this fast moving, informative webinar.

If you are not 100% confident that you're completely up to date on the latest regulations, strategies and best practices, you won't want to miss this webinar!  Be prepared!
