Webinar Description

Open enrollments, salary budgets, training, interviewing, and job fairs. HR professionals are front and center in speaking on behalf of their company more than almost anyone else except for the CEO. Consider that HR often has to explain complicated (sometimes unwelcome) concepts to many different kinds of people with varying educational levels, and it becomes imperative that HR be in the top tier of the best speakers in your organization.

Jerry Seinfeld once famously said, “Surveys show that the #1 fear of Americans is public speaking. #2 is death. That means that at a funeral, the average American would rather be in the casket than doing the eulogy.”  Embarrassment and failure when speaking in front of others is one of the greatest fears most people encounter in their careers.  However, it does need to be that way.

If you attend this webinar, you and your staff can give confident, clear, informative, and interesting presentations which keep your listeners’ attention.   You will never fear speaking in public again; giving presentations, or merely just speaking up in meetings. Learning to speak confidently in public will serve you well in all other areas of business as it becomes easy to automatically, and on the fly, construct succinct messages that are heard and considered.   Teri Morning, an experienced public speaker herself, will teach you how to “fake it until you make it.”

Don’t let fear of speaking in public hold back your career or even damage your image.  Anyone can learn to give confident presentations. One day you may even be surprised to find public speaking enjoyable.
