John (Jack) K. Kennedy, Jr., Ph.D
John (Jack) K. Kennedy, Jr., Ph.D., is the Executive Director and Founder of Half Moon Consulting, an organizational assessment and development firm he launched in 2004. Jack is highly respected for his work with clients in the areas of employee engagement, climate survey research, organizational assessment, leadership effectiveness, organizational change, and internal brand alignment.
Jack has applied his extensive expertise in survey research methods, personnel research and management development during his consulting career. He works with clients to create a strong alignment between the people, systems and processes and the organizations’ mission and business objectives. Through the use of diagnostic tools and action research he helps clients identify the key drivers of human resource problems. Jack’s clients reflect his ability to serve the needs of a broad array of industries and government organizations.
Jack holds a master’s and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Washington and a B.A. in psychology from Boston College. He has published in Organizational Behavior and Human Performance, Leadership Quarterly, Journal for Quality and Participation, Educational and Psychological Measurement and other professional journals, is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business and Psychology, and presented many professional groups. Jack is an active member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Metropolitan New York Association for Applied Psychology, the American Psychological Association and the Academy of Management.
