This lively and information-packed 90 minute program by employment attorney Deirdre Kamber Todd is designed for new human resource managers, non-HR professionals who are given HR duties, and as a refresher course for current human resource managers and professionals. In an hour and a half, Ms. Todd will conduct a course in HR 10. She will cover the basic legal concepts and give you best practices to prepare you for your important and complicated role in your organization.

- The discrimination laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, GINA, NLRA, etc.)
- The wage and benefits laws (FLSA, FMLA, USERRA, Equal Pay Act, etc.)
- Information sharing and privacy laws (HIPAA, SCA, Wiretap Act, etc.)
- At-will employment and its exceptions, and
- Best practices for keeping it all straight.
