HR and Stimulus Relief: What the 2021 COVID-19 Business Relief and Tax Credits Mean for Your Business
Duration: 90 minutes
Speaker: Teri Morning
Webinar Description
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, a major bill, included economic stimulus relief due to COVID-19. Much of it should be of great interest to employers struggling with absenteeism, employee illness, childcare problems and other COVID-19 related situations. Tax credits and loans for the purpose of employee retention and leaves can, for some organizations, help keep the doors open and, in some cases, essential services occurring. And in the new law, small business assistance abounds!
There’s also promises of more relief coming. A new administration always means new changes. So, employers want to plan how to best position their company to respond to circumstances and also be ready to adapt to new circumstances.
This webinar will cover what is of most interest to HR and small business in H.R. 133, the new relief law. What changed, ended, was edited and extended, and what is new. Also, a brief overview of what is likely to occur under the Biden administration so you can start planning for 2021 and later.
