Workplace Violence: Prevention and Response
Duration: 90 minutes
Speaker: Bob Gregg
Webinar Description
Incidents of workplace violence are on the rise. Employees increasingly make threats or do harm to co-workers or property. The results are sometimes catastrophic. Often these incidents could have been prevented. Threats of violence require prompt, sometimes immediate, action, yet many organizations are not prepared for these situations. They do not have in place the policies, training, or an understanding of the overall practices and processes which can be used to prevent violent acts or how to identify, act and deal with the aftermath and crucial follow-up issues. This 90 minute program by attorney Bob Gregg will review legal issues related to workplace violence, including the ADA direct threat standards, and will address policies and best practices so that your organization can act when there is a threat to the workplace. Be prepared. Implement the right policies and practices to identify issues and prevent violence.
