The purpose of HR metrics is to help communicate the value added of the HR department in an organization, demonstrate the contribution of the business’s human capital, and measure employment related risks.  HR professionals make a vital contribution to a company’s bottom line, but they have to become a strategic partner with top management.  In order to achieve this vital goal, HR professionals need to speak the language of business at it applies to the HR department—HR metrics.

 

This webinar discusses the use of HR metrics as a core competency for HR management, reviews the role HR metrics play in helping an organization make critical business decisions, describes how to calculate exposure to liability of employment-related practices, and provides a description of some of the more widely used HR metrics and their effective use.
