Onboarding - A Good Start Results in Good Retention
Duration: 90 minutes
Speaker: Teri Morning
Webinar Description
To counter the Great Resignation requires great retention efforts. Great retention efforts start with good first impressions, not two days of PowerPoint. No one is ever as motivated as when they have a new beginning, and that includes starting a new job. Not to take advantage of that golden period does both employers and employees a disservice.
A good retention effort incorporates getting an employee off to a good start, including building solid relationships, performance management, coaching and problem solving.
Great retention efforts start with a good beginning, and beginnings start with building connections. In today’s world, some employees interview, start work, and quit without ever even having met their coworkers or even their supervisor face to face. It’s easy to leave when you never felt connected. This webinar will teach you how onboarding can be the beginning of a relationship, rather than just a reviewing of rules.
