Webinar Description
All too often employers make the decision to offer PTO in lieu of tracking employees’ absences without really examining the pros and cons of time off policies. While there are examples of workplaces ripe for PTO, most employers are doing themselves a disservice by using PTO instead of allocated leave benefits. This program will take an in-depth look at the issues created by PTO and allocated leave to enable employers to make a knowledgeable policy decision. Using PTO for some employers can create massive problems, including unintended required pay, excessive absenteeism, FMLA violations, employer-responsible pay during paid military leave, ADA dangers, and rule violation issues. If you are facing issues with PTO or the question of whether to use PTO, this is the webinar for you.
